New Zealand Announced their squad for ICC T20 World Cup 2024
NEW ZEALAND CRICKET (NZC) announced their 15 members squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.Kane Williamson will lead the team as a captain, overall, the team looked balanced.
NEW ZEALAND SQUAD LIST FOR ICC T20 WORLS CUP 2024:
Kane Williamson (captain), Finn Allen, Trent Boult, Michael Bracewell,
Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Daryl Mitchell, Jimmy Neesham, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra,
Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee
COACH SAID: “I extend my congratulations to all the players selected today. Representing your nation in a global tournament is a significant moment. With the anticipation of encountering various conditions at the venues, we believe we have assembled a squad capable of adjusting and thriving under different circumstances,” Stead remarked.
BLACKCAPS has the history of over performing in ICC Tournaments, but this it will be tough for blackcaps to perform as ADAM MILNE is injured and it would create problem for the team, but skipper Kane Williamson know how to use the resources which are available.
TRENT BOULT IS BACK FOR ANOTHER ICC TOURNAMENT:
ICC tournament. The pacer has been in good form in the Indian Premier League and is expected to shine once again in the tournament.
New Zealand is in GROUP C and will play matches with AFGANISTAN, UGANDA AND PAPUA NEW GUINEA, West Indies.
They have to play only three matches before semi-finals

1. NEW ZEALAND V/S AFGANISTAN – 7 JUNE, GUYANA
2. NEW ZEALAND V/S AFGANISTAN- 12 JUNE TRINIDAD
3. NEW ZEALAND V/S UGANDA – 14 JUNE, TRINIDAD
4. NEW ZEALAND V/S PAPUA NEW GUINEA – 17 JUNE, TRINIDAD
Important: All teams are allowed to make changes to their squad until 25 May, after which any alteration will require approval from ICC’s Event Technical Committee.
