Bowlers took CSK back on winning track

CSK Bowler restricted KKR for just 137 runs and Ruturaj took the charge in the run chase and completed it with ease, CSK won the match with 7 wickets in hand and 3 overs left. Ruturaj scored 67 runs in 58 balls and partnership between him and Dary Mitchel took the game away from KKR and at end Shivam Dubes (28 runs in 18 balls with 3 sixes) six hitting ability made it a cake walk for defending champions to register their 3^rd consecutive win at home.

CSK bowlers used the surface perfectly

Slow Chepauk surface was brilliantly used by CSK bowlers specialy by Ravindra Jadeja, KKR went to a good start in powerplay 51 runs for 1 wicket but then came the Jaddu storm and the top order of KKR was destroyed and suddenly KKR were just 99 for 5 wickets in 15 overs. KKR hoped that rinku and russle will show some magic but the magic we Shaw was of Mushtafizur Rahman giving just 10 runs in last 2 overs and took 2 wickets, after such tight bowling effort by CSK, KKR were restricted to 137 runs on the loss on 9 wickets.  

MS Dhoni Took Control of CSK

After winning 2 games at home CSK were on top of the table but they had to face 2 away defeates against DC and SRH. Back home the game against KKR the CSK legend Ms Dhoni looked proactive in the field managing fielders making strategies for the bowlers, and he briliently controlled his bowlers and stopped in form KKR batting line up to just 137 runs in 20 overs. Ruturaj is lucky to have such an experienced player in his squad to assist him with his captaincy.

Skipper Ruturaj back in form

Ruturaj played a captains knock and scored 67 in 58 balls and controlled the innings and finished the match with greatest finisher of all time MS Dhoni. Initially he struggled a bit but once he started playing his shot it was all Ruturaj Gaikwad in Chepauk and now we are expecting Rutu to get closer to that orange cap, if he wants to give perfect farewell to the man the myth the legend MS Dhoni.

KKR remain on 2^nd spot of the points table with 6 points in 4 matches and CSK remains at no 4 also with 6 points just falling short in NRR against LSG at no 3 and KKR at no 2.
