Chelsea managed a hard-fought draw against Aston villa in premier league

Aston was about to get a double against Chelsea in premier league but just then came the brilliance of Chelsea in the second half. After going 2-0 down in the first half Chelsea managed a draw at villa park Birmingham, it could also have been a win if the third goal in 90+5’ was not overturned by var decision.

Aston villa dominated first half

Aston scored 2 goals in first half one of which came from deflection of Cucurella as an own goal in 4^th minute of the game. Chelsea conceded a scratchy goal so early in the game which made Aston more comfortable, although the possession was dominated by Chelsea but Aston was perfectly holding their shape and were not allowing any chances to Chelsea. Yet Chelsea created 2 chances both came from Nicolas Jackson; he even scored a goal which was given off side by a bare margin and few minutes later he got a clear header but he only managed to hit the post. Morgan rogers scored 2^nd goal for Aston on a counter in 42^nd minute making the score 2-0. at the half way mark Aston villa looked comfortable.

Chelsea came all guns blazing in second half

First half mistakes coasted them 2 goals but, they came aggressive in second half pressing  the ball  making runs trying be in spaces and very soon Chelsea got the result Madueke scoring in 61^st minute. The sheer aggression from visitors created a bit panic in Aston villa camp they went into shell to defend what ever lead they have got but we all know it was never going to happen Conor Gallagher scored the equalizer in 81^st minutes against Aston villa and game his team a chance to get 3 points from this away fixture and Chelsea got the 3^rd goal as well in 95^th minute which was overturned by VAR.

Some players from Chelsea deserved credit for the comeback first is Madueke not because he scored the opener but he was all around the pitch involved in runs tackle and winnings ball for me he was my man of the match and no. 2 Nicolas Jackson he made his players believe that its just matter of time we will get the goal last but not the least Thiago silva the backbone for the defense played brilliantly put his defense together after that own goal in early half of the game. Aston villa is Ahead of Chelsea in premier league points table but was game where they showed why they were premier league winners of 2009-10.
