Dortmund is 1-0 up against PSG in 1st leg
Dortmund defeated PSG 1-0 in the first leg of champions league semifinal. goal from Niclas fullkrug in 36 minutes was the difference between these two sides. PSG failed to impress once again to many chances missed and poor display of defending. PSG would have 3 goals down only if Dortmund have converted their chances.
Shaky start for PSG 1-0 down against Dortmund
Dortmund dominated the first half whereas the visitors never looked so comfortable right from the start. recent performances of PSG are not much satisfying but they some how manage to get back in the game.
In the first half PSG was playing with a high line defense that cost them in 36th minutes when Niclas Fullkrug just went with the off-side trap and scored a opener for Dortmund to put them 1-0 up against PSG in the first half. PSG hasn’t looked threatening they have taken 4 shots none of them were intended to test Dortmund’s keeper.
they need to come back and more importantly not concede more. Dortmund would love to go in second leg 2-0 up against PSG and they have to prevent this score line.
Plenty of chances missed by both teams
PSG started the second half with full attacking intent they are knocking on the door but Dortmund is not giving them opening to get through and working on counter attacks.
PSG defense making mistakes and that giving chances to Dortmund but even they are unable to score got 2 clear chances in a span of 5 min from 55 to 60 minutes but they missed both clear chances.
Dormant created many chances but missed all of them PSG was shaky with their defense yet they are lucky that they are only 1-0 down or else it could have been easily 3-0 only if Dortmund have converted their chances.
At the end of first leg Dortmund is 1-0 up against PSG . PSG must be happier side going into the 2nd leg as they have already faced this situation in quarterfinal against Barcelona and they defeated them in second half , so might be expecting the same but PSG is not playing their football mbappe is getting no runs finishing is poor Dembele got 2 opportunity in front of goal uncontested yet he was unable to score they need to find a way to get going .
