A Rising Star of Indian Cricket Musheer Khan is met with a massive road accident, when he was Coming From Azamgarh To Lucknow. Musheer and his father admitted in Hospital. Musheer Khan has suffered a fracture in a accident just days before the Irani Cup.
Accident Details
While traveling from Azamgarh to Lucknow with his father and coach, Naushad Khan, Musheer was involved in the accident. Currently, there is limited information about the severity of his injuries, and the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has not released an official statement.
Miss the Irani Cup and Ranji Trophy
As a result of his injuries, Musheer will not be participating in the Irani Cup matches scheduled to begin on October 1 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. A source told the Times of India that he did not travel to Lucknow with the Mumbai team for the tournament but was instead on his way from his ancestral home in Azamgarh.
Recent Performance of Musheer Khan
Despite his unfortunate accident, Musheer has been in remarkable form in red-ball cricket. During the recently concluded Duleep Trophy, he played a pivotal role in securing victory for India B by scoring 181 runs against India A. However, he has also faced challenges, having been dismissed for a duck twice in his last four innings. The 19-year-old has an impressive batting average of 51.14 in this format, having amassed 716 runs, including three centuries and one half-century, in just 15 innings.
