Rishabh Pant is back in form, DC defeated GT by 4 runs

In close game against GT Delhi Capitals defeated Gujrat by a narrow margin of 4 runs . In a high scoring game where Delhi capitals made 224 in the first innings with the help of Indian wicket keeper batsman Rishabh pant 88(43) and Axar’s 66(43) Gujrat was just 4 runs short of chasing it down firstly Sai Sudarshan 65(39) and then David miller 55(23 ) tried to get to the total once they were taken down it was just the game of catching up for GT though Rashid khan played brilliantly but it was too much for him to chase it down.

Delhi comeback after quick 3 wicket in powerplay

Delhi is know for their aggressive starts but not every time warrior alone took 3 wicket in the powerplay , talking down aggressive Fraser-McGurk , Prithvi Shaw and Shai hope. Suddenly dc was suffering to even get close to 160 total but then came the brilliance of experienced Indian capped players Axar Patel and Rishabh pant took the game deep and prepared the platform for the hitter to come and get dc to big total . pant batted till end along with him Triston Stubbs played a momentum shifting knock scored 26 runs in just 7 balls with a strike rate of 300+ and dc reached to mammoth total of 224 .

Sai Sudarshan and David miller fought well

Even though the target was very big and loosing their skipper and highest run getter Shubman gill early everyone thought Gujrat is done for the day . But the lad got Critic on his strike rate today he came in smashing boundaries and and scored a handsome half century at a Strike rate of 170 . Sudarshan made the base for the run chase and then came David miller who was going through a bad patch in this tournament but today the team needed him most he stepped up and scored a half century in just 23 balls but he was dismissed by Mukesh just when he was taking the game away from DC.
