South Africa Squad Announced for T20 World Cup 2024
South Africa announced their 15 members squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. Aiden Markram will be lead the team. Markram leading his country for the first time in any ICC tournament.
South Africa Squad: –
Aiden Markram (C), Gerald, Baartman, De Kock, Fortuin, Hendricks, Marco Jansen, Klassen, Maharaj, David Miller, Nortje, Rabada, Rickelton, Shamsi, Stubbs.
Travelling Reserves: Nandre Burger, Lungi Ngidi.

Squad Analysis: –
Aiden Markram will captain the squad, which also includes power-hitters Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Quinton de Kock and Tristan Stubbs in his batting unit.
South Africa has elected to take three frontline spinners in Bjorn Fortuin, Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi, with Markram also a useful slow bowling option in USA and West Indies.
Coach Said: – South Africa’s white-ball coach Rob Walter said in a media release on Tuesday. “Selecting this group was extremely tough considering the amount of T20 cricket that has been played recently and the form that has been on show, I am nonetheless proud and confident that we have named the strongest possible squad that no doubt has every chance of success in the West Indies and USA.”

South Africa is in Group D where he plays our matches against Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal and Sri Lanka in the World Cup. South Africa opens its campaign on June 3 in T20 World Cup 2024.

Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Netherlands and Nepal
