Pakistan Ends Winless Streak on Home Soil, Beats England by 152 Runs

In a dominant display of spin bowling, Pakistan’s Nauman Ali and Sajid Khan tore through England’s batting line-up, taking all 20 wickets in a memorable Test match. This milestone has only been achieved seven times in the history of Test cricket, where two bowlers claim all 20 wickets in a match.

Nauman Ali Heroics Performance

Left-arm spinner Nauman Ali stole the spotlight in the second innings, with impressive figures of 8 for 46. He finished the match with a total of 11 wickets. His partner, off-spinner Sajid Khan, took 7 for 111 in the first innings and added 2 for 93 in the second. For his all-round performance, Sajid was named Player of the Match.

Pakistan Triumphs by 152 Runs

Nauman and Sajid’s brilliance performance hepls Pakistan to bowled out England for just 144 in the morning session of Day 4. Chasing a target of 297, England’s batsmen struggled on the spinning track, with Nauman taking full advantage to secure 8 wickets in the second innings.

This victory was also a personal milestone for captain Shan Masood, who claimed his first win as Pakistan’s Test captain after six consecutive losses. It also ended Pakistan’s 11-match winless streak at home, which included four losses to England.

England’s Batting Collapse

Resuming on 36 for 2 on Day 4, England’s struggles continued on the spin-friendly pitch. Sajid Khan struck early, dismissing Ollie Pope with his second delivery. Nauman Ali then took charge, claiming seven wickets to seal a famous win for Pakistan.

England captain Ben Stokes, returning from a hamstring injury, top-scored with 37 but was dismissed in bizarre fashion. Attempting a big shot off Sajid, he lost his grip on the bat, sending it flying towards square leg and was stumped. Brydon Carse provided some late entertainment with three sixes in his 27, but it was too late.
