WELL FOUGHT WORRIERS- Shashank and Ashutosh heroic went in vain, SRH won by 2 runs
SRH is known for their aggressive start throughout this IPL 2024 , Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma both openers are in sublime form but Punjab kings pacers had some other plans neither Abhishek nor head was allowed to get going and even Markram was sent back on a duck to pavilion, Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh was completely spot on Arshdeep took 2 wickets in second over and 2 wicket in third over showing complete domination over SRH but when it looked like SRH is going down one more uncapped Indian stepped up to the toughest league in the world and played a sublime knock of 64 runs on 37 balls, he bashed Harpreet Brar for 22 runs in an over and with his effort SRH were able to put a decent total of 182 runs, then bowling unit of SRH showed what they are capable of Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 2 wicket in powerplay and skipper Cummins also bowled brilliantly and Punjab registered lowest powerplay total of IPL 2024.But then came the heroic of Indian players Shashank Singh and Ashutosh they almost took the game to the crossing line but unfortunately it was too much to ask for these two.
Nitish Reddy and Abdul Samad
Nitish and Abdul played according to the situations SRH were in deep trouble when Nitish came to bat, all the inform players were back in dough out and after 10 over mark SRH were struggling to get runs but from there to get 183 mark after 20 overs it was all Nitish Reddy and Abdul Samad who came up with quick cameo to get SRH some extra 20 odd runs to play for and that runs filled SRH bowler with confidence and they showed that in second innings destroying top order of Punjab kings.
Shashank and Ashutosh Fought hard
one more crunched situation one more shashank ashutosh special partnership although this time they were unable to cross the line for punjab kings, but both of them played briliently shanshank scored 46 runs in 25 balls and ashutosh scored 33 runs in 15 balls but the ask was too much at the end they lost the match by small margin of 2 runs.
SRH won the match but Shashank and Ashutosh won the hearts and Punjab definitely will bounce back, SRH has now 6 point and Punjab kings has 4 points.
